Hotel Centennial Has Arrived in Woollahra
With Justin North at the helm Hotel Centennial opened recently with much applause and anticipation. The elegant yet relaxed new look inspired by the gastro pubs and hotels of Europe, will be sure to once again establish the venue as one of Sydney’s top drinking and dining destinations.
Justin North and his team, headed up by Tom Deadman, have stayed clear of any fad dining themes with the food offering and designed a menu that focuses on their take on classic, good value comfort food.
Justin says, “Modern Comfort food is simply good food done well. We have an exciting opportunity to bring together the skill set of our chefs in developing our own twist on hotel dining”. Dishes like Fig and Caramelised Onion Flatbread with goat’s curd and green chilli or the beautiful Centennial Waffles with Butterscotch Fudge Ice-cream (pictured here)….yes please!!
Promising to be a home away from home for its patrons, the hotel offers a variety of drinking and dining spaces including a comfortable dining room and choice of bar and lounge areas that surround the dynamic open kitchen at the centre of the venue.
The interiors feature an eclectic mix of custom made furniture and antiques set against a collection of contemporary photography, creating the welcoming feel of a private home.
Hotel Centennial has also launched The High Table. This new dining concept features a long, communal table seating up to 30 guests and from Monday through to Wednesday the chef will serve a daily plate for the entire table.
Monday – Saturday: 12pm –12am
Sunday: 12pm – 10pm
